  • PART 4 :: HOW TO WORK WITH A FOOD SCIENTIST : Discussion Panel and Live 1:1 Working Session with a Panel of Food Scientists - August 23, 5-7pm. Doors open at 4:30pm.
    • Minnesota has more food scientists than anywhere in the world, we'll be talking with a few food scientists and experienced producers about successes & challenges working together to results in the best possible local product
    • attendees will have the opportunity to engage 1:1 with a food scientist to discuss problems you might be facing with your recipe, ingredient replacement, shelf life, etc
    • This content is designed to benefit entrepreneurs with companies that are: 
      • having difficulty perfecting a recipe
      • facing challenges improving their product to expand further into retail and/or distribution
      • looking to meet a food scientist

It's going to be a great discussion of practical, cost effective solutions that will help grow your business! The panel will be moderated by Midwest Pantry co-founders Zoie Glass and Chad Gillard.

This 5-part series of discussion panels are aimed at helping you the entrepreneur learn directly from the people you'll meet on your company's path to reaching your goals. You'll glean insights about how your can protect yourself, your ideas and your company at each stage of growth; how local producers are creating innovative paths to bring product to market faster, how to safely sell your products online at Amazon and other emerging ecommerce players, how and when to work with a food scientist, and how 2018 tax law changes will affect your business.

Each discussion will be moderated and will feature a panel of 3-5 experts, and since each discussion will be recorded, we ask that questions be submitted ahead of the event.
